The Chesterfield-born hair stylist, 23, became the first islander of series 11 to be dumped from the villa after just one day on the show.
Speaking about his time in Majorca, Sam revealed that he got on with everyone – except Samantha Kenny.
They were paired up initially, but when bombshell Joey Essex arrived, he chose to couple up with Samantha.
As a result, Sam was left single and ultimately dumped from the island.
Speaking to OK!, Sam said: “The only person I’d say I struggled to get on with was Samantha.
“Straight from the start, there was a barrier there which was hard for me because I get on with everybody. It’s very rare that I don’t get on with someone.
“That was a shock because first day, she ruled it out and there was nothing there.
“For me, it was a bit weird. I think that’s when I knew, clearly she’s not interested.
“And then Joey walked in and she just stuck to him the whole time so I knew it was going to happen.”
It comes after Sam accused the ex-Towie star of knowing how to manipulate situations to cause explosive telly drama.

Sam told The Sun: “We’ve never done anything like this before, but with Joey that is so normal so you don’t know if he is being himself, for us it’s so unnatural, for him, it’s his job at the end of the day.
“It’s Joey Essex, he’s been on TV his whole life, he knows how to cause a scene or problem.”
Although Sam’s time on the show was short but sweet, some viewers are hoping that he’ll make a return as a Casa Amor bombshell.
And viewers are convinced that he dropped a huge hint that he would be coming back.
When saying his goodbyes, he told his co-stars that he would “see them soon”.
